HAHAHA, you remind me of some of my old customers when I used to work at a bowls clubs, some of them had those hats and bags AND drove old Volvos! They used to make me laugh so much, they would pull out of the car-park so slow you swear they were trying to idle home.

i work for trivetts and one of the brands that i have the privilege of dealing with is volvo... and everyday i have at least 2-3 mechanics tell me these are the worst cars ever to work on lol so beware!!!!!

the fuel system is piss easy compared 2 the commodore. The hardest part is taking off the trim 2 fix 1 of the power windows. They are hell strong tho cause the other day a volvo got hit by a truck and i swear the truck has more damage lol

update..... just got it towed back from the mechanics $580 later..... left there not running but after i replaced a $20 part i got it running but only on 2 injectors. Still waiting 4 the new ones 2 come in from states.... on the plus side i can now put the full sterio from my wagon in2 te volvo cause im doing something special 2 my wagon

Yeah i didn't see it, and yeah i thought the festival was a bit over-rated. TBH i had more fun at the caravan park (something to do with a large group of us, 4 campsites next to each other, with a ford laser parked in the middle which was blaring music mostly dubstep for 8 hours of the day) Needless to say, the tenants loved us :P

Nah i left the car safely in the garage at home, and it's got the black garnish and rear wheel arch spats, and i hate maccas so you wouldnt see me trolling through there

hassles with cops? ive never been pulled over (yet), no attention so far from them about the spats, and i shouldnt think there would be, seeing as VP calais have them stock. I think you got pulled over purely because of the black wheels and low, cos they'd assume people who have black stockies on a low older commodore wagon DO BURNOUTS and have cut springs.
I love slammed wagons, they look so phat. i know, slam the Volvo! :P

i am slaming the volvo took the rear springs out 2 see how low it sits. Tow hitch hits the ground haha. Im gonna bring the front arch down 2 the tire and tuck it under the rear :P im gonna have the lowest volvo on the south coast haha

oh and the vn was sitting on the bumps cause we had a full car load and his sister isnt the smallest girl lol

ok so i have spent 800+ on it trying 2 get it running. It starts and runs but doesnt run propperly.... still having problems with cylinder 1 at that stage of where im gonna sell it... so if any1 wants it its theres 4 $1000. I want that cause thats what it ows me

found the problem with cyl 1.......

there is a break in the middle if the spark lead. When it was sent 2 the shop they put the tester near the dissy before the break so it came up good but when i went thru everything i put my tester near the spark plug and got nothing... so i slid it up further and found where the break is, pushed it together as hard as i could and it idled great.................. my arms are all tickly tho.... got a lovely shock some how

so there is still a chance 4 this thing 2 live (until i drive it)

what do people think? should it stay or should it go???
