Default ///The Euro I4(soon to change) Daily

so the e21 is on stands in the shed getting a bunch of stuff done to it, and ive been driving the old mans lancer wagon around. browsing ebay as i usually do, and found this beauty had just been listed, got the VIN and checked to make sure it was legit, picked it up sunday.

its a 1994 318is 5spd. base model everything, sunroof, etc. has 135000ks on the clock, assuming its legit but not sure. its had a smack in the bum at some stage but was repaired properly from what i can see. has m3 front and sideskirts, have to pickup a rear bumper to match

needs a bit of tlc, and a few things for roadworthy, shouldnt be too long and ill have it on the road as my new daily.

will be ordering some coilovers for it once i have some more cash(needs new front shocks for roady anyway) so it will be getting dropped as soon as possible

i bought these wheels off ebay early september and the prick has finally managed to sort out sending them to me.

    theyre simmons LE 3 piece wheels. 17x8 +15ish and 17x9.75 +8ish

they were listed as refurbished, which it looks like they were but have been sitting outside for quite a while and dont look too good anymore. so looks like ill be refurbishing them again.

test fit them on the car after work, im going to try and track down some 2.5" lips for the rear instead of the 3.5" on there now. it IS a daily, and the cops down under dont take too kindly to excessive pokage!!

    rears

    fronts

    fronts on the rear

    niceeeeeeeee hakysak!

at least with this one, you dont have to do too much to get it on the road. hopefully this one will be fairly reliable

rims look good with the test fit, i can see your daily plans go out the door when the e21 is back on the road nice buy

Hahaa!!! Looks clean as Hak Gotta be happy with that, trim the door inserts up, with the roof lining and this baby's interior will look pretty nice! (maybe a wheel if you can find one)

Wheel ideas = 3.5" lips on the fronts, and get some 4.5" lips for the rears, and get to it with the grinder and some sheet metal, flare those guards good and proper!

Do the rears in there 'squat' when moooaaarrrr lowww is applied?

    Ahh, yeah, I forgot, Daily...

they dont seem to change camber much as it gets lower, but ill probably wait til ive got coilovers for it so i can slam it and see where the wheels land. tho i could just rip the springs out and use the jack

    good price mate, well done
my old man has the same car cept its a 93, and without the M3 kit. His is a manual too. He lives overseas for 10 or 11 months of the year so it just sits at home, i drive it from time to time, they are heaps of fun to drive and go pretty hard considering the size of the engine imo. Goes round corners better than any holden ive been in too :P
look forward to seeing it with the springs and wheels on!

not too bad, some stuff is harder to get, if you shop around, or can wait, parts can be had pretty cheap

yep. they have some camber adjustment stock, but id rather preserve the tyres as much as possible

Yeah... LS1 fits very nicely into a E36, there is a e36 on carsales with an LS1 at the moment. SO SO SO SOOOOOO tempting...

    http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls...ywords=bmw+ls1

I just REALLY don't like the interior on anything pre-2006ish in the bimmers.
