Are different diameters front and rear allowed?

    Why a V6? Stick a small block in it... 253 or 308.

LOL, contradiction much? First you ask if different sized wheels front to rear are allowed/legal, then you tell him to put a V8 in it which would make it illegal for a P plater to drive.....

As for a 253, a Commodore V6 would flog a 253 (and stock to mild 308's for that matter) anyway and do it while using half the amount of fuel. Seams like a pretty smart conversion to me (especially being on P plates), only thing better would be an injected 5 litre or LS1 or if you want old school a Small Block Chev.

V8 laws are ridiculous and you explained why. When a modern NA V6 can beat a classic small block Holden V8.

I suggested a 253 or a 308 because they're a classic engine for the car. It's now always about power.

Oh absolutely, didn't suggest for a second that the laws in place are good ones, i find them rediculous myself for that exact reason that a modern V6 would run rings around a 253....

Fair call on the classic car/engine thing, but injection is the way to go for a daily/frequent driver IMO.

Thanks for all they replies. The colour is 'Arrival Blue' for if anyone is interested in colour.

Regarding the engine - I was going to have a straight 6 bored out and 'hotted up' with triple webers, but this would be using alot of fuel so went for something more practical.

Also on the engines - is surprises me that an EFI 5L has around 170kw yet a new VE V6 ute has 210kw. I think i should be allowed to put an old V8 in ? Stupid RTA !

Even a 253 OR 308 has only around 140 kw or something like that ?

Sorry for the late reply, if you want to know anything else just ask
