Umm, time and money. I'm trying to get the VP to a nice state, and then I'll be working on this. I just replaced the O2 and coolant temp sensor on the VP so now all the fuel money I'm saving is going to the BMW (hopefully)

Started it the other day.. Thats about it.. My plan was to attack it these holidays, but between work almost every day and studying for my HSC Trials when I get back I havent done anything.. 14 stitches in my leg doesnt help out either..

Cool project man.

My good friend has an E21 318, it is having an M10 built for a touch over 190rwhp (estimated obviously) hi-comp n/a. It has bilstein adjustable shocks and custom springs, everything in the car is new pretty much, the car has been in the family since it was purchased off the lot.

Found out a few things about my engine tonight (not sure how true they are).. Supposedly it has been rebuilt about 3 months before it was taken off the road (that would explain why when you take off the oil cap it is sparkley clean), all new gaskets, flat top pistons, new timing chain etc..

Also, I actually spend some money on it!!!!!!!! $50 on some e21 stockies tonight

^flat top pistons just means its still at standard compression being a 2ltr.

Also took it for the first drive since I bought it... Borrowed a mates set of trade plates and took it up the street and back, mainly so I can turn it around (was facing wrong way in driveway), but also to take it for its last full weight drive...
