got it for $2,000 a is

I needed a ute for work (vs has no room for tools etc) and this came up at the right time

running fine and already had some mods done to it
When I first got it , only damage was pannel damage and a slightly bent rad suport

first Thing i did was take the front off

seeing what the white walls would look on it

The donor car I got for $600, straight panels in all good nick, so got a good barguin and when im done ill just sell it to a wrecker or something

took the tail gate off it , needs a bit of beating and that , but im going to shave the gate so it doesn't matter

    OK update time,
cut the whole front end out (Bitch of a job to do lol )
and welded in the new rad support and started to strip the donor car for pannels

took the left and right front guards and cut indicator holes into it (I want to stay semi legal)
and the whole front end off
    bolted it all back up

    finally all put back together

brought a new battery for it today and it seems to be running alright on petrol now (used to be struggling at the higher rpm)

now just need to paint the front end as its different color white , but that will come later on

    for the lols

thinking of maybe going matte black or white with the calais type strip along the bottom

    were as a ecotec/super 6

    mounting kit $1200
ecotec engine and gear box $1k
    or
    l67 and gear box $2k

    then getting it installed 1-2k.

so like $4k all up .

as this is only going to be a work ute to go from a- b and tow a trailer now and then it doesn't need to be "fast"

thats what my next car will be for ether vy ss or vz ss and then ill go all out on her

There's enough power in an L67 for a daily worker tho. Oh and personally I'm not a fan of he 3rd pic, the last one is better IMO.

that care looks good. the 3rd pic is definately the best.
no need for too much power in a work car. really only need some torque if you will be towing heavy loads. also depending on where you work, fuel economy can be a big deal =P
this car looks like it will be a very nice car for a work vehicle and having some fun.
also just load it up with tools, no need for airbags then

And in other news , fitted my boss kit and woodgrain wheel
and painted the whole interior BLACK!!!!

The wheel feels sooooo much better then the stock one , feels so light too . way different to drive haha

also got a cheapy chrome front grill of ebay for the time being so that should be here this week maybe or start of next

Also hunting around for a cheap 0/1 gauge wiring kit so I can hook up my subs/make a subbox . Then ill start ripping most of my gear from the commodore to put in.
Going to have some serious bass in this cab haha.
Thinking of having my 900rms /1500 watt sub , 2 x 400rms /600 watts subs in the back space bit haha and a nice set of splits up the front lol

Looking sweet as mate!! Always loved the "mini trucks" and it should look awesome once it is lowered etc.

As with most other above i reckon the 3rd option looks great!!
