Well after the VT SS was stolen, I went car shopping for something else to sink my time, money and effort into. After looking for a while I decided the offerings from the "blue oval" were much better at the same price point.
So after test driving a few, I decided on a BA XR6, in "Blood Orange" after falling in love with the colour since the missus step dad got his GTP in the same colour.
The car set me back 11.5k, stock as a rock with 96,000km on the clock and a fantastic service history. Over all the car is in pretty good nick given it's age and is much nicer to drive than the VT SS was/is.
I must admit I was quite impressed with how much punch the I6, Ford really put together a nice package; and I know the current series of FG Falcons is much the same, so I will be looking at these as lease options come end of the year...
