    Thought I would post a new ride thread, i'll add pics later when I get home.

    So much stock makes me cry!
    Got a rapid systems replacement intake pipe to go on along with an XR8 CAI and some dress up bits when I get around to it.

    Plans are around 350rwkw, factory 50th anniversary 19's and upgrade the stereo components to begin with.

    Spoke to Andrew at preston autos and diffs, he has a FG F6 LSD taken out at 1500km's.

    Fitted up the XR8 intake, didn't take pics as it's been done 1000 times over so credit to Kula on the ford forums for these.



    Big difference with the turbo one.

    Love it airstrike! Looks really neat, a bit stock but I'm sure you are goin to fix that lol.
    Didn't realize there is that much of a difference in xr8 and turbo airboxes either. How are to going to achieve the 350rwkw?

    For 350rwkw I would be looking at tune, injectors, dump and cat and a new cooler.

    Mate nice ride. i was told you can't get more than 320rwkw out of the smaller turbo on these g6eT's. btw how much change did the airbox make?.

    They are all different, but mid 300's is about the limit. The box doesn't feel that different, at least by the ass feel, sounds better though.

    So you can hear the turbo sound more now driving?. one other thing. how are you going on fuel economy.

    you running 98oct now?. you should us we sit in the car and all listen hard for the turbo sound. apparently it sounds nice from outside but i am yet to hear it outside but i feel it inside.

    A friend of mine was telling me those dunlop sport maxx tyres which come on the 19" 50th anniversary rims are universally rubbished on the ford forums for bad grip, just encase you ever need extra grip with extra power.

    Interesting, mine were doing fine with 300rwkw ploughing through both of them.
