VKCOMMO's STANCED SKATEBOARD

So a mate of mine sent me a pic of a stanced skateboard the other day, and it got me thinking.. Here goes

Tossed up on Facebook: WANTED: Skateboard, dont care about the condition, but I just want one.

Got a reply shortly after from my cousin saying he has one he doesnt want, and if I come and pick it up its mine..

I finally got around to going out there today and I picked it up and went back home..

The second I came home, the trucks were off and it got a quick 400 grit to remove any flakey paint, and to roughen it up to make some paint stick..



Then a quick wax and grease rub down and it was time to slap some paint on it.. Raided downstairs and found half a can of gloss black..



The plan is to sometime before I finish school (finish on the 23rd of this month), take in the tricks and try to get some camber on it in metalwork, probably an oxy and a vice, then see where I can go after that.. the pic I was shown had the board cut where the trucks went, Im going to try to make it so I only have to slit it a bit where the wheels come out, but im going to play it by ear..

You don't need a clutch to change gears, just match engine RPM with road speed and it'll fall straight in...

Probly only in a straight line as you need to use the trucks to turn the board, and being bent and under the board would do didly squat

i went out and bough a new flip board, rode it home looked at it and though, awww ####, i dont think i'l start skating again. ahaha
