Posting up my old mans new camaro,All the goodies have started arriving for it from the states. The camaro will finish its RHD conversion next Wednesday. Going to go with BPS in cleveland for the install as he did tuned the last ve clubby. It will be running the 3.875inch pulley and a softer tune on it while the engine runs in, afterwards will be running a 3.5inch pulley giving it a bit more boost. Anyway up for any more ideas and feedback for mods? Will be painting the wheels black and putting the black bowties on aswell. Keep posted for dyno results and more pictures.

wow. like.
lol someone likes their red cars with black stripes...
looks good mate, should be a pretty tidy unit after you get that charger on it.
agreed on the broze colour rims, disagreed with the black tho.
but hey, just my opinion and you know what they say about those?
i am oh so jealous of this thing!
seriously thought about importing something like this. love american cars.
this is definatly where a Chev Badge belongs.
too much money ><
My VS Statesman 3.8 LTR http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...an-3-8ltr.html
WTB: UL IRS springs. SSL front springs. VS SENATOR WHEELS, VS VR CAPRICE/STATESMAN LOWER BAR LIPS, Cheers.
already had a great discussion on this with Ari a few weeks back.
car costs $40k AUD. shipping/taxes etc = about 10% (4k) then RHD conversion = about $30k so about $90-100k to import a new car and have it onroad.
however car over 30yrs old, no RHD needed can be picked up cheap from USA which = good idea.
i do admire people that are willing to do it so thumbs up to you weldmac.
cannot wait to see how it goes with the charger on it.
100k for a car that costs 25-30k in the US lol
not saying it isnt worth it just saying it wouldnt be my cup of tea.
Looks damn good and the charger should give it a nice bit of power at the wheels
I must admit it is a damn beautiful car its just a pitty it costsso much to import n do a RHD conversion
a car is worth what you will pay for it. if you dont wanna pay 100k then wait 3 years
Braybrook? Still in Melbourne due to leave tomorrow. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

awesome mate! saw a camaro the other day down here in red...looked so good, and its unique too which is awesome.
a bone to pick though, AUTO?!?!?!!??! haha
Yo.
Damn I wish these were on lots in Australia. I'd have an SS in a heart beat! Sub $40k USD can't go wrong... If ever I end up living in America for a period of time it will be one of these for sure!
