Well.
After the year i've had i decided i didnt want to fix my other boat. So when i sold the VQ, i put the money i got from that straight into this new toy.
It's a 1980's era Savage Javelin 4.2m runabout/ski boat. So it's a bit shorter than my other boat. But that doesnt matter. It works so that's a bonus
It came on a pretty crappy Dunboer Tilt trailer, so had it swapped over onto my other trailer.
Interior has been recently retrimmed/carpeted,
Time for some pics!

Thanks mate. Was looking at Merlin Mirage's before i got this.
Picked up some new lights to "Trick my trailer" as it were.
Submersible LED Bar with Stop/Tail and Indicator
Some side clearance lights for the wheel arches as they're a bit wide (and because lights are arguably awesome)
And, where the lights are going to go.

Yo.
^Thanks mate.
Ran the motor up thursday night and got rid of the flatspot in the motor. Flooded the shed in the process, but, it's the price you pay
Finished up rewiring the boat that Ari and I started last weekend. Didnt get any before shots, but here's the results.
Switch Panel:
Installed:
Installed a new anchor light in the stern, removing the one from the bow
Nav Lights On
Interior lights and Anchor Lights
And ski mirror

Otherwise you end up stuck 30km out of Bairnsdale on a public holiday with a blown tyre. Resulting in a 200km+ round trip to find the one shop that was open and get a new tyre fitted to the rim.
Got 3 extra km's out of the carcuss by stuffing it with grass, but then it wrapped itself around the axle.
So. Bought 2 new rims, 2 new tyres and have the one i trekked around the country for as a spare.

Done some more research and can amend the first post, it's not a 1980's era boat as i first thought, it's infact around a 1968 year model apparently.
Took the boat down to Eildon with Paradox and his boat to do a test and tune on the two boats
Paradox's is the red, mine is the blue
Got mine out on the water and it was free-reving at high rpm, brought it back in and found that the prop had spun, but it was also damaged from strikes before i got the motor:
Bought and fit a new prop:
Repainted the leg to freshen it up after 30+ years
And just some more photos of the boat...because i can:
