There's a guy right across from our factory. It's convenient cause he's close, and he does me mad deals. Do you need some gear done?

Yeh I no planning to use the top part and run a pipe off that. Still going to make an air catcher to sit behind the bar opening.

I've decided to go with a MY99 WRX. I'll be hoping I can make it somewhat on a similar level of greatness to yours.

Blasted all my engine covers today, not fully done yet, still a couple of spots I missed slightly. On another note, The covers were previously red/pink and previous to that black (OEM?)...

Also started making my Mine's style cam cover baffles. Made them out of 1.2mm 304 stainless. Not done yet.

    Will finish those tomorrow.

    Update:
I did the "Turbo pipe mod". Basically it splits both the rear and front turbo airflow up so the rear flow is less affected by the vertical wall of air from the front. It's said to offer a gain of 10-15hp more. For anyone interested in the concept, have a look at this thread: Thread

Here's the basic finished product, I think I will continue to take of weld material to get it flatish and polish it up so you'd never know, much like the one in above thread.

Forgot to get some pic's of my stainless cam baffles.

    Update,
Engine covers are being coated, should be done today or Monday.

Started the LONG polishing job on the Turbo pipe... It's a decent job, even with tools..

It will look like a mirror when I'm done, this and the intake plenum will be the only "bling" under the bonnet.

In the process of scoping out new speedflow fittings and braided line for water connections.

    Engine covers were done today.

Charcoal Metallic powder coated. The coil cover and front cover will both be carbon fiber, I just go them all coated so I had a matching set..

Planning some carbon covers, it should look good with the charcoal.

I have both, but that is just angle grinder> RO w/80 grit> RO w/200 grit> Wire brushed to see where it's at. Still got a while to go with it until I get to using a proper polishing wheel lol...
