hey boys n girls this is my recently bought LJ torana, very basic ride and suspension at the moment, mods about to begin.
at the moment its running:

engine:
308
port n polished head
yella terra roller rockers
650DP holley
stock headers runnin into twin 2.5 inch exaust
mildish cam, unknown as yet

Drive:
trimatic full manual with extra clutches in first & second gears
3000rpm stall convertor
Ford 9" 28 Splined 3:55 with Mini Spool
stock front brakes HQ rear drums

Body:
15inch dragways
scoop

detriot locker, th700 transmission and new cam going in very soon

Very nice. I love my toranas. If it were my car, I'd do the GTR XU1 black outs on it. Just a little touch, that makes it look sooo hot...

Still, it's awesome the way it is!

Very nice car man. You got a piece of history and now it is very unique, because in NSW (not sure about other states), the V8's in LJ torana's are illegal because of the wild Power to Weight Ratio, you cant get them engineered anymore, this was as of Juneor July Last year.

Love the LJ toranas, i agree with the above post and reckon you should get the GTR XU1 blackouts, althouugh it is up to you. Like your wheels too, we had them on a Mustang we used to own...

We have also got a 308 LJ GTR Torana, its Devil Yellow, and they ****in rip... We spent two years and plenty of $$$ to build her, Everytime we drive it we get the shakes of an addrenillin.
Good to see how much respect people still have for older cars.

Like your numberplate too, TORRY, siuts that car well. Our numberplate is YELLA

umm if u live in nsw and the lj hasnt already been previously regoed with v8 u cant rego it but there would be a way around it for power to weight do wat i done slip a v6 in one gross weight is 500kg less than comodore 149kw roughly works out same power to weight of newer monaro so i was told

I got a 2 door LJ im currently restoring.... its gunna be Lono Ranger Orange!
Id been tossin up weather to keep the white interior in it or not ( coz it came with white seats) or when i get them re-upolsted, get them done black with orange houndstooth.... after seein the pic of urs, im deff stayin with the white seats, yours looks wiked!!!
