Very clean mate, as long as you NEVER get rid of the VN![]()
haha nah never selling the VN spent too much and have so much more to do!
lol nah I only drive the VN twice a week or so now
The need for a daily isn't that big at the moment but it will be next year (except for when the car gets climate control or goes to ASV lol).
that thing looks great! how many k's?
We got rep back, yaaay!
looks good man chuck on a turbz n she'll fly :P
180k aint bad, 2 grand insurance is a bit steep though
We got rep back, yaaay!
Yeah, some places wouldnt even insure me. I've had insured cancelled on me before thanks to the modifications on the VN, so the insurance companies don't like me even though its a different car. Plus the 2 speeding fines, one of which had my licence cancelled. Cant get any better than a Rating 3![]()
Don't even consider thet turbo on that thing. It wont take any more then 5psi on stock internals...7psi for fun but watch for detonation.
Hehe, so you got your boxer. Hope it starts everyday and does its job as the workhorse.
So far so goodAnd its suprisingly good on fuel, even better than i was expecting. Still a tad slow though

lol it will never be a fast car unless it is gets an EJ22T engine thrown at it.
A cheap mod hat does help with the ponies is the SP Intake (**** Pipe Intake) here is mine....Prepare yoursel f for the loudest intake you've ever heard11111111111111111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
and here is the remnants of meeting with a Nissan Pulsar at 50km/h
![]()
That aint too bad for a 50km/h crash, shoulda seen what my VL looked like in a low speed accident
Does anyone sell an intake like that for it over here? Or shall I make my own?
my front beam was relocated 2ft (no exageration) to the right. 11K wortht of damage.
Intake is made from 3" PVC piping bought from hardware store![]()
2 feet? Holy crap!
I actually still have some PVC piping in the shed that I used to make a CAI for my old VL, so might go grab a cheap pod and get cracking on that
Thanks for the pics man!
lol They'll have plenty of time to hear it as well cause it will take a while to get past em
Would an exhaust make any difference? Also what sort of exhaust would be well suited to it?
An exhaust really isn't worth the effort on them. I put one on and noticed no noticeable gains. The only time I noticed it was when I went and turboed the engine and went catless (did I say that out loud?)
its gay, so it suits you haha :P
auto... why oh why??looks clean though
