I got a e30 318i (in red) thats supposed to be a daily driver... but now i have springs on the way... a cannon on the way (i got it for 2 bux so meh) new lifters, lights, globes, steering wheel and sports seats....

So much for daily driver...

god knows, scored em on ebay for $300 they were silver but i painted them black with vht wheel paint.

these things are addictive i swear, ive spent so much on suspension and brake parts for this its crazy.



got an indicator done today





and heres a few pics of the indicator pcb and the lot sitting in the bucket and updated bucket with what ive had to cut. didnt hotlink, as it would probably take forever to load(hosting pics from home)

Ended up buying over a grand and a half of bilstein suspension components and king springs to put in this weekend.

Plus spraying the calipers and all that jazz...

thanks guys, gotta cut the rhs tail light bucket for the leds, and mount the boards, then theyre done.

my little friend the drill press

i had iblown machine me up some spacer rings to keep the rotors hubcentric(both front and rear new rotors had bigger centre holes), along with some rings for the black wheels aswell.

drilled tops for the rears today, getting iblown to machine me some spacers for the sleeves to sit on the circlip on the shocks



and a 3d of how they should look once done. ive just gotta work out spring length when the spacers are done

scored this cheap minus turbo, manifold and injectors. ive already got a manifold for it, which i got off ebay for $90, and will soon get injectors and turbo. its got a blown head gasket from what we can see, well its got oil in the coolant, so we're hoping just a headgasket.

motor on engine stand today, and bolted manifold i got ages ago for cheap, and the dud turbo i got for cheap on there for dummy up atm

also ripped the rocker cover off, looks clean in there, drained oil, only couple drips of water at the end, so unsure whats actually wrong with it yet. head will come off sometime, but gotta pull cams out to get head off, so will whack a set of adjustable gears in too.
