Nothing wrong with that, the more rims you have for that reason the better! You will try and try slicks/semi slicks or race compounds for ages until you find some you really like. At a track day today, for one day, one owner had 4 or 5 sets of rims, each with different brand and compound rubber wrapped around them...... Varying from 18 and 19 inch, to different sidewall sizes and widths.....
had a play with the new rotors today, redrilled one. came out alright.
making a bracket for the calipers gonna be fun though!!

yep, my corner scales finally turned up. granted the bootlid and rear glass is out and theres a bit of sheet metal missing from the boot, theres a heap of crap inside the car to make up for it. but it gives me an idea on where its at. original weight is around 1060kg.
about time you received them scales.. how long u been waiting for em?
any progress on the motor?
Those brakes look good behind the wheels man. Nice avatar too![]()
started cutting up a spare pedal box for dual master cylinders yesterday.... yeh, its gonna be squeezy

update, second master mounted, bracket angled. still needs fine tuning, but its getting there. pedal ratio should be around 6.5:1

Might have to explain your setup to me...
Your running twin masters, does the bmw use a booster?
Do you need two of them then?
Are you still runing the remote bias units? if so, are the masters for a front/rear setup, one doing each, or... are they a "whole system" thing which allows more pressure in the system from the two different mc's and then you'll bias based on that.
Is 6.5:1 an acceptable ratio to you? it seems a little low but depending on how you plan to set this up you may be fine..
aZk.
the bmw runs a remote mounted booster and single master cylinder stock(rhd versions only, due to distributor position)
new setup will be no booster, one master cylinder for front, one for rear, using a balance bar for bias setting.
stock pedal ratio is about 4:1, wilwood pedalboxes(dont use a booster) are 6.25:1, so 6.5:1 should be fine.
That's mad! Those corner scales are fantasticI'm so jealous, I want a set for myself!
Keep the pics coming, it's fascinating to see what you're doing with this![]()

more progress today!!
back plate cut to shape, not the big square it was before. brake bias sleeve welded to brake pedal(its an auto pedal, and im not going to even bother making it the shape of a manual one, theyre close enough as it is)
relocated the accelerator spring to hopefully clear the balance bar remote cable aswell.
will weld the plate to the original box once its all sorted. just gotta work out the clutch master cylinder now. thats gonna be fun.
pedal ratio came to about 6.8:1
pics time

and ill probably try and do a bit of track work with it, maybe do a run or 2 on a strip, most likely the 8th down where greenfoam lives(gonna go for a drive and visit him oneday)
That pedal box is a work of artYou CLEARLY have too much time on your hands my friend. FAR too much.

since the bmw is cable driven speedo, and the sr20 box uses a sensor, i decided im going to replace the stock instrument cluster gauges with some new ones, with electric speedo and a few other necessary gauges.
will be using the autometer ES series, as i think theyre the nicest looking set for the car.
Auto Meter - Gauges
they only do a speedo in mph though, but hoping i can calibrate it to read as km/h instead.
been playing with the layout aswell, pretty much settled on this assuming they all fit.
