well, looks like the red one will be going to a better home soon.

just scored this little beauty for $400 on ebay. its got heaps less rust than the red one, so will be quicker to get on the road. plans will be exactly the same, just with a better base to start with. will be swapping the red front valance over(looks better), along with the doors(theyve got more rust than the red one) and maybe the bonnet(think we saw bog on the bonnet yesterday when we looked at it)

its a 320i aswell, which is a 2ltr, so the sr20 will match the badge

lol i feel for your folks haha, good buy mate, u had made some good progress on the red one, but this you hardly have to touch, which means the P will be done sooner!

tyres on the sportmax wheels, test fitted them on the red one just to check they fit. these will go on the blue one as soon as its in the yard i reckon. ended up going sme FALKEN ZE912's in a 195/50r15 for a tiny bit of stretch(and they were cheap )

My god those wheels look cool.

Good work with the new one. Maybe you should keep the other one for spare parts, then try and sell all the left over parts, and then the shell/chassis or whatevers left to the scrap blokes. Might get a better price for it that way.

Also, is the new one older than the red one? (diff mirrors and stuff)

yeh, the new ones a 77, old ones a 80. im going to keep front guards, some spare panels and such, diff, then probably try and sell the shell and motor on ebay, otherwise, to the scrapyard it goes. cant leave it round here too long, 7 cars is just too many to have in the yard. gotta cull it to 5(red bmw and the vn)

Fair enough. You never know, spare panels will always come in handy.

I know what you mean about having too many cars though...........it's surprising how quickly they accumulate lol.

yep, the bmw is its replacement. lowagz v2.0 will be my only commodore then. until i pick up another wagon to do a aero kit on.

its official, shes gone now. left on a tilt truck about 5 minutes ago, loaded up with random crap inside it. now theres more car space out the back
