You are right, the pic I have up there is the old setup. The new setup is still 'Under construction', and by that I mean it does not look very pretty un painted, so I don't take pics
stocky, thats probably part of the issue. The plan is to have the pod in the front left wheel arch, as the bay is a little on the full side now, and does not even fit on the end of the TB with the new setup.![]()

The Blue One
Hi All, I thought I would update, its been a few years now.
Well, the last time I was talking about this car it had just had the VZ brake setup installed. That’s all well and good, and has worked real well over the years.
Since then, the smaller pulley went on. It was non inter cooled, and un tuned, just running a malpassi ( naughty naughty). Although this went well, the engine did not last very long, and developed blow by, ended up being damage to one of the rings.
The car was parked and after almost 3 years of sitting in the garage under a cover, I decided it was time to bring her back to life.
So Late last year she got a fresh VP V6, a 600x300x100 intercooler, big 3 inch piping, a set of 36lb injectors, 2 bar map sensor and a few other bits. I began playing with the tune.
She was running about 6psi with the intercooler, and with a good tune, ran real well. Even though I kept the tune relatively tame, it was a massive improvement, and gave a whole new meaning to the phrase throttle response. So I enjoyed its new found power for a few months with the occasional cruise around the block.
I then decided it was time for a bit more go since all the goodies were under the hood, so I have now fitted a 10psi pulley, and the tuning process is underway.
Once this is done I’ll hopefully give it a run down the ¼ to see where she sits.
After that, the only other thing on my list will unfortunately be a FOR SALE sign…... Needs to make way for the new project.
