    Default Big old Yank tank

Its a 76 Buick Electra Limited. PS, PB, air, central locking, cruise, speed alert, radiator service reminder, 8 way electric seats, power windows, remote mirrors, 6 seater. Its a pillarless 4 door, so when the windows are down, its just one big window either side. 3 speed auto, 455ci V8, or 7.5l in the new money. It weighs about 2400kgs. Its not that quick either. Just for cruising. Its currenttly dual fuel. A 90l petrol tank under the bum, and 2 lpg tanks in the boot. One is 80l the other I think is 60l. It could be 80, but I cannot really see it. It travelled about 4000kms last year. Ive done a huge 40 miles this year so far, with another 45-50 miles to be done next week, and no more till about March or so....

    What you all think?

nope, its a 455ci B.B. Its the Buick motor thats 455, the Chebby donk is 454. Big differance in design. Oh its lovely to cruise in. Chews fuel like you wouldnt believe! Mods are a long way away.Im a broke as*! Custom exhaust, retrim, new heads from a 70/71 455ci, and straight gas conversion. Thats it for now.

well as the gas was done before the rebate scheme, and I didnt install it, I dont qualify. Mods to gas dont qualify either. Bummer. I put $120 of fuel in it the other week, that got me about 1/3 a tank of petrol(30l), and about 100l of gas (room for about 40-60l more) and average around 31l/100kms on gas, and about 9miles/gallon on fuel, might explain why I dont drive it much
    Thanks cruzncommo! Appreciat the comment!
