Lame car dont expect a great response on this site bar the fact that it is Nice car for you to learn in, get a good grasp of driving. Not too much power at all. Id leave the modifications and save your coin for a car far more worthy. M2C.

NOT MUCH POWER, my VK would be lucky to have 76KW not to mention the VK would weigh a heap more and only a 4speed.
But modding a Laser with neons is an epic failure.

yea broke sumthin in the front bumper when i took the bolt out ot have a look....
the front of it is a big fkd up, chick before who owned it must have knocked it.
and it is a 99 model, the 2001 was a KQ which had a different front bumper and other stuff like chrome handles...which i am tryin to pick up both for cheap if i can.
i got the car serviced two days ago, the bloke said the clarion sticker was illegal where it is placed and wouldnt pass a roadworthy...but im hating the idea of having it off...been on for so long now im attached
and i know its a **** box...just wanted to put up something on this site...not many of my mates if any have cars...im pretty happy with what it is compared to what is came as...plus im still able to save up so i rekon ill have a commie soon enough..for now and the nxt year its a good little cheap run around....which was why i bought the thing?

Then when you are ready for a Commodore, you can still ok money for it, then with a little extra you will be able to pick up a clean VN - VS Commodore! I guess you could say the Laser is a future investment

got a new bolt for the front numberplate, now fine, also got a silver guage surround installed...tmoz for the sub and exhaust install

Anyways, what sub are you gonna run mate? Get yourself a decent 12" and build a ported box, and godamn will it be loud in that little laser.

haha yeah, its a clarion SB12XB sub & an amp thats no longer continued :S its 400w i think...
got it installed yesterday along with the exhaust...the exhaust is subtle and i like the sound, nothing like a cannon
and the sub...little disappointed so far...because my h/u doesnt have RCA's its run off hi-low something or other? is taht right :S no idea....so yeah, thinkin about gettin a new clarion headunit with mem stick input and such...$270...what u guys think??
plus the amp is tuned down atm to let the sub run in.

The mem stick inputs are always pretty good, is it usb ie a usb drive thing or one of those SD cards?
