hah gordie
the supra sounds sexy
and yes, i am stalking you

awesomehave to bring it round when you pick it up!
got the trans out, input shaft seal was leaking due to what looks like the seal wasn't seated exact, as its a ring seal looks like the seal may have been broken by the input shaft seal, hard to explain.
made a new paper gasket for it and replaced the seal and reseated it. filled the box up with fluid, stood it on the bellhousing and rotated the input shaft for a while, dosnt seem to be leaking anymore, i ordered a new trans mount off a toyota 4runner as it looked the same, sure enough bolts right up, exactly the same part (yaaay for toyota for using common parts)
Here was my issue why the brand new seal leaked..i failed to RTFM

cars sooo much better to drive with the new trans mount. shifts hard again without hitting boost cut (must have been picking up knocks) feels a little down on power but ill figure that out and best of all the seal isnt leaking :P
prick of a air intake system is leaking again however when the new manifolds on ill redo all the cooler piping and swap to MAP insted of MAF
wastegate actuator is saggy, wastegat ekeeps flapping open and dropping boost, preloaded the actuator with 1-2 shims seems to help but not fix the problem. need to find a new actuator...

shimmed the wastegate just for some preload, as a result its now running 7psi but holds boost now.
plugged the controller back in for some off boost help with spool, running 7-7.5psi now and overall its such a better car to drive, hopefully putting some decent K's on the motor in low load applications this weekend.
AND hopefully picking up a haltech in a few days, also pub has completed my manifold and it looks awesome! should be picking the manifold up tomorrow.

purchased a brand new turbo wastegate actuatorshould solve my spiking issues and help keep boost when i raise it to round 15 at dyno/tune time.
fixing the last of the oil leaks last night and car is running pretty good, need to replace all the ic piping as its old and the ends of the hoses are cracked and venting some air to atmo causing it to run a little rich. when the car gets converted to MAP this wont be such a issue.
well did some good driving in it the last few days, preped it to drive 380km (return trip) to my parents house this weekend, got 15km from home and all of a sudden (cruising along) lost hydraulic pressure in the clutch... pulled over and luckily had brake fluid/spanner to bleed it (bleedable from engine bay) bled it, tons of air in the line, still no pressurepushed the fork a little but not enough to disengage the clutch...
soo i figured im not leaving my car here to get trashed over night.. :P
managed to drive the cat 15km home with no cluch (speed matching gears and ripping it)
limped it home and figured out its either the line or the slave cylinder... !
should be easy to fix, hoping to sell my daily soon and buy a commodore again as a daily too.!
Pulled the slave cylinder apart, piston seal failed, looks like it got cocked on the sidewall of the slave cylinder and tore, $10 part and 10mins to fix, will have the car driving again tomorrow =)
here is a pic

Test fitted the manifold to my spare motor

picked up a new piston, some rubber grease and should have the slave cylinder rebuilt and installed 2nitehopefully picking up a haltech soon.
UPDATE: fixed car goes good again.. booked in for a 3" dump pipe for Thursday. picked up my new actuator as well (wont be necessary until i push it over 10psi)
hopefully have this car making some respectable power within a month
Found a haltech e6x for a good price, should be picking it up tonight![]()

650 with loom, going to be fun to wire up :P

been doing massive ecu research lately, matched %90 of the pins
my car runs semi sequential injector from factory and the best the haltech can do is semi sequential (4x injector channels) which is fine, hopefully drop the car off to get the dump pipe done tommorrowshould give it tons more power up top, which im not reving to at the moment. reports are massive gains from a dump
so i should see some decent performance at low boost till it gets tuned
i think i got the cam position sensor nutted out just need to figure out the ignition setup and im good to install it
its funny how basic the e6x is compared to my factory toyota computer, but it will do the job tons better![]()

it seems this car has 1 day on the road 1 day off the road.
Clutch slave cylinder broke again, piston seal is fine, just no longer sealing.
i've replaced the entire cylinder this time, cars back on the road and the clutch has never felt this good![]()
