whats the update with this man, ya havent written for a while now

Been too busy to come on here lately,

Took it for RWC and needed.
Wiper blades
front passengerside brake hose
rear shocks
Center tailshaft bearing
Engine mounts
Fog Lamp globe

Got Tokico Electronic Ajustable shocks to go with the Tems already factory in the car, they're firmer than stock too!

Got a new boost gauge aswell.

All the parts are fitted in the car now and it goes back for RWC tommorrow and to vic roads on friday. im picking up a 600x300x100 cooler on tuesday for it aswell and i got a boost controller, just have to fit it...

all in all its nearly there!

oh well.. easy enough to do, taking it to vic roads tommorrow, i seem to be having a overheating issue, aslong as i can limp the car to vic roads tommorrow i dont care lol...

ill be ****ing off the clutch driven thermo fan and replacing it with a single 15" thermal switch controlled electric one (cant stand the noise) then ill be fitting a 3" exhaust to it pretty soon...

been driving it a fair bit today! installed gauges, its running good, i just need practice, its a hard car to drive, 3.9s in the diffs and really weird gearing of the box!

im going to boost it another 5psi tommorrow, booked it in for a 3" cat back next week and i pick up a 600x300 cooler this weekend along with a new water pump monday, and if i get time im removing the clutch fan tommorrow and replacing it with a electronc one!

im happy for now... its good to be back on the road

well added a boost controller and im hitting as much boost as the ecu will allow before fuel cut, i had a run against a 1jz MK3 tonight, it was dyno'd @ 171rwkw and i was dead even with it

running 9psi now! goes tons better

not that anyone reads this but i got my cooler, booked in for a 3" exhaust on thursday, hoping to fit a XF throttle body to it so i can run 3" piping from the cooler to the throttle

apart from a blown water pump which im picking up a new one 2nite (running no thermostat currently) and fouled plugs from a leaky bov (vents air and afm calcs on total air = runs too rich) so its got a bit of a miss under load but ill fix that up soon,

apart from that boosting strong, the electronic shocks kick into the hard setting when the car reaches %70 throttle but allows weight transfer before doing so its quite smart

so yeah exhaust is getting done tommorrow (cat back) im going to get a dirvorced downpipe made up, apparently there is tons of power to be had with a new downpipe,

seen a few stock turbo supra's run 13.6s with just a cat back & 10psi , apparently my supra ran 14.3 @ 7-8psi so ill be intrested to see what i can squeaze out of it.. aiming for a 13, should be able to do a 11-12 on the stock motor

apparently i have a blocked cat, badly blocked cat :P wound the boost back down to 5psi for now till thats sorted

pulled plugs, cleaned them, seems to run better now

nothing intrestings happened to the car really, im poor till next week :P then ill buy intercooler piping and some other goodies and get it cooled and a new cat on it... aiming to have a new turbo on it in a few months, not sure what yet

punching out cats is primitive, putting pipes in them is better!

my vp came with a piped cat, blew too many flames out the exhaust, pretty obvious when a 30cm flame popes out the exhaust :P (it was tuned)

ill probbly fit a new proper cat because i decided to stop killing the enviroment thats why i went from 5L to 3L :P..., plus they're is a sub oxygen sensor in the cat which makes things complicated, ill get it sorted dont you worry! i gotta replace a few gaskets this weekend but i cant go spastic, im spending sunday in a datacentre/server rooms so looks like ill have to get it all done saturday..

im kinda getting the urge to go out and buy a new turbo car, like a liberty GT manual in charchole grey or something... but i dont want debt right now so ill stick with the supra ..

i took my mate for a spin last night, he has a 2JZ n/a MK4 (round supra) he liked it

supposedly something like that, obviously not? its making some odd noises from the clutch, i think the pressure plate is giving out...


also picked up a spare 7mGTE today.. im going to rebuild it with forged internals, and slap the biggest turbo on it i can find, aiming for 25-30psi with the new motor....

ill probbly put the turbo on my current motor for starters and run 19-20psi, should make a good 350rwkw once all completed right
