yep, sounds pretty good, commodore parts are all made locally, where as my clutch came from japan thats why its more expensive. still a bloody good price

well finally im getting the panels fixed up, its off the road now as i picked up my daily, removing boost cut, boosting to 15psi (most likely with the aid of a electronic controller)

then i need to get it on the dyno, but i dont expect much to happen till next year, cops are crazy new years time so im happy to sit back and drive my nice cushy wagon for a few weeks while i fix up a few things.

clutch will go in next weekend,
im planning to fit a greddy Emanage to it with maybe a greddy electronic boost controller (so the emanage can control boost)

i also want some nice wheels on it, maybe the JZA80 16" wheels painted black or something

im moving house soon aswell sooo i need to save for that (boo) and i need to put the daily on lpg, but it cost me $50 to fill up a full tank and it looks like its going to make 500-550km out of that so it makes me happy, its got some balls too for a daily

wold3d im leaning towards, internal map sensor,

it did "dose" untill i changed the bov, the stock bov was only working upto 4psi anything over was surging, so now i have a bigger bov and it seems to work good... clutch goes in soon

well, pulled my trans out today, found a extreme cushioned button, but its 225mm which means i can spend $400 and get a lightened 240mm flywheel (same ring gear size)

i think im swapping the button clutch for something else tho, i think ill throw a single organic plate in

while im down there im doing the rear main (bolts out easily)
also doing front & rear transmission seals.

id rather fix all leaks now while im down there, given i had 1L of fluid left in my box i need to fix the leaks...

also the bloody spigot is jammed it was stuffed anyway

i ended up with one of these should do the trick nicely, got the gearbox seals done, flywheel machined, new throwoutbearing (old one was shagged) spigot out/ new one in (what a **** lol) just gotta swap the rear main and bolt the flywheel back up then the clutch and the box

should be all back together tommorrow and driving/boosting

exedy said the clutch is good to 350rwkw+

W58 and yeah, plenty of people pushing 500-600rwhp through these boxes but given its also old who knows... its a game of chance... but if it aint broke... dont fix it (unless your making it faster)

worst comes to worst i strip the input shaft of its teeth from a big ass clutch dump, kill the sandwich plate ?? or just plain brake a synchro ill either rebuild the box OR throw it away and buy my self a R154 which has no end to the power it can take (the proper turbo box) the W58 has the close ratio gears which im interested in right now as hill climbs are quite fun

i need some newer photo's looks ace with fog lamps in n stuff,

i got the box in yesterday and clutch pedal feels good, havnt driven it yet as i need to put a few more bolts in the box and ive got christmas shopping to do but ill get it done sometime this week and get some more photo's

i must say the rear main seal is soo easy to do on these cars with the motor in the car

well! its all in and i must say the clutch feels very nice to drive , its not a harsh engagement but when it bites it really bites, box dosnt feel soo sloppy now its got 3L of fluid insted of 1L

might drive it tomorrow then put it off the road again for another 2 weeks to do some motor stuff (cam bearing is noisy...)

im going back to stock for now 6psi and ill make it run good then when im convinced thats ok ill boost it, im scared to applied full throttle atm, im going to get new cooler piping next i believe, and im liking the greddy emanage ultimate (map sensor yay)

we'll see what happens when i come to that road

    You're such a homo, mackster.

That supra's looking mint, though! The JDM lip on the front bumper changes the whole face of the car so subtle, but so nice. I like it a lot.

Hopefully all these little things will come together perfectly And hopefully you like the clutch, too! Hope you're looking forward to steep hill-starts in the rain, when there's a highway patrol behind you

i left 2 big black lines up my mates steep driveway......

    hahaha mack you moron!

i took some video's last night, i might upload one if i can be bothered...

the issue now is, i can boost to 11psi (no spike) but under load ill hit ignition cut... the reason is "fuel cut" is a function of load vs rpm vs boost vs kebabs

so i can hit it on 8.6psi or 11psi it just depends.. the controller does its job good, really good...

in the next 2-3 months im fitting these goodies
    new cat converter
3" dump pipe (making the exhaust 3" turbo back)
2.5 or 3" intercooler piping (coldside)
    2.25" hotside intercooler piping
    aftermarket ecu.
new kframe (ive got 1jz mounts and kframe in my shed
maybe a new motor with fresh rings, deck, hone, maybe bearings if they need it + fresh seals on the bottom end, exsisting head. ($500 rebuild...)

my current motor has a bit of blowby which means all my oil surges through the breathers and finds its way into my intake...

im not going to claim how much power or how fast it is untill i dyno it, then ill be happy with it enough to test its performance, ive got alot of bottle knecks atm, i got some more pics too!

my aim is 200rwkw on the stock turbo with the above mods made @ 10-15psi.

the current record is 500rwkw on the stock block & head (just metal headgasket and arp bolts) it ran for 3 years too...
but another guy was making 560rwkw with nitrous....

they'res plenty of 400rwkw motors out there with 180,000k's plus, running stock bottom ends.. so i figure ill see how far the stock bottom end can take me, then if i blow it up... i have a spare.. (which ill probably rebuild)

i just need more dorrahs, saving to move into a new place and buy new furniture... i get the bond back on this place when i move soo ill buy a new ecu then

well i've decided to give my spare motor a freshen up (new rings, bearings, deck the block/head | rehone block flush etc)

ive got a suspected cracked head in my current motor and i have overheating issues with air entering the coolant system.. this has been happening for a while but been getting progressively worse, i dont think the previous owner was too kind to this car...
