I Purchesed this bike close to 6 months ago from a local Yamaha dealer,
the bike was in very good condition for its age, with barely any scratches and even had the orignal tyres on it it was a bargin at just shy of $6000

the bike i find is much nice to ride compaired to my old bike which was a 2 stroke 250, the power seems more applieable and just genrally nicer on the rocky trails around my area

yer 250s are nice, seem to have enough power and they arnt to heavy
anything bigger and i assume you would have way to much traction probs but they would be nice for long enduro rides

yer coming off aint the best, by im not botherd alot.
my thoughts are atleast im still walking

dude nice break! i shattered my foot not long ago and got a plate and a few screw in it, ****ing sucks! you wouldnt race by any chance? ive seen that bike around but it was awhile ago out at south coast mcc. ive got a 07 ktm 250sxf! come over to the orange side

yer sucks big time, keen to go riding by physo said not yet, still to weak in the wrist
nah i dont race, was wanting to look into it before i stacked but i think i might give it a little longer, plus im not sure on jumping yet.

Get a road bike! That way you not only need to worry about broken bones, but getting road rash, cars hitting you, pulling out in front of you, running red lights and so on. It's fun

ordered a new throttle cable and housing from yamaha yesterday
broke when i had the accident so i havnt started it for 3 months now
cant wait to hear the pur of it again

not to sure about that, bassically i have left it like how ive got it and am planning to

might speak to the sales dude from coast yamaha and see if he has any idea why, ill find out tommorow when i pick up the new cable and housing

picked up the cable and housing today

started fitting it together when i noticed the bottom part of the housing was twisted couldnt tell as the other housing part was snapped in half

so ordered a new one of them, so thursday it should be in and another 60 bucks down

as for the having the 04 stickers on they said bring in your vin number and we will tell you what year it is

running a little ruff though and i think the bars could be bent a little

might be because it was sat for 4 months and the plug has rusted or fouled really bad.
anyway its due for a service so will get it solved then

well went down to coast yamaha today and booked the bike in for a service and tune. will be getting the valve cleareance checked also
so thursday ill be droping it off and picking it up saturday


old man also bought a bike off a mate of mine
a 1985 honda xl 250, 4 stroke air cooled twin carb

picked up a brand new clutch in the basket for the honda aswell as twin carbys for a xt 250 for $50 bucks of my dads work colouge

had the vin checked out and the bike is a 05 model, so as for stickers i aint to sure

on the ute going to get serviced

should give me a little more security from neck injurys in conjunction with my fox armour

has been written off before, but it was from panel damage. prob could get it regoed just need indercators and a speedo

went for a ride today with the old man, so nice to be back on the bike

i happen to have the model ride as you, pretty sweet aint it

also had a pretty major break last year, broke my humerous bone in my shoulder, its the ball in the shoulder joint, snapped it in half going over the bars over a jump in the mud, and let me tell you that it wasnt very humerous !!!

so where u go riding, looking for a couple of new spots around the place??
