Tom's Air Compressor Trailer
Picked this bad boy up the other day. 5HP petrol Honda motor, 200 litre tank + auxilary tank(about 25 litres), all custom built onto a trailer with a little tool box. Takes bugger all time to fill up both tanks, around 5 minutes, with pressure relief valves so you can keep the motor running all the time, but ill doubt ill even need to be using that much air lol. It has huge amount of pressure, Im yet to actually use it, but it takes ages to empty the tanks using the dump valves, so it should last a good time with air tools and painting.
The bloke use to use it to paint runways with, using a spray rail at the back (not included).
The tank can also be filled with what ever you like and pressurised, which is what its inital use was, when spraying runways, but could be used for poisons or fertilizers etc. It has a heap of different uses, and im discovering more and more every minute, but for me its just going to be a big ass air compressor on a trailer.
FUTURE MODS
Im going to regulate the flow into the big tank, and regulate the flow out aswell, just to be safe, dont want this bad boy exploding lol. Also the main tank will have air filters to get rid of the moisture in the air. The auxilary tanks will have one tap setup with a reg/filter/oiler for the tools, one free flow tap just for spraying air etc, not sure what to do with the rest. Its got 9 taps ive counted so far haha.
Will also upgrade the tool box or atleast add a lock to the current one.
Have thought about welding up a stand and mounting a retractable air hose real but im not sure yet.

Yeah, definitly thinking about it, BUT it will stored in a carport (if you can call it that) so im not to sure how the hose will survive, dont want to spend that much to have the hose perish. But thats not for a while yet, got about 200 bux in regs and **** to get yet. Want it setup right, so i can use it wen ever i need to.
When my mate seen it, he was quite happy with the motor, he has the exact one for a fire fighting pump on the farm. Starts first pull (if i remember to turn it on lol) everytime.

Theirs the beast setup for spraying. Could do 3 coats of paint, 3 coats of clear on a VN gaurd maintaining 40psi without even having to turn the thing on lol.
A bit of an update, big tank now has a regulator/water trap just for painting, the smaller tank has a reg/oiler/water trap on it, and will have a free air coupling soon.
Ive decided not to regulate the air going into the big tank because it will restrict how quickly air can flow from the small to big tank. I shut the big tank off, while using the rattle gun flat out, looked over and the tank was at 125 psi.... it has a relief valve at 75psi, but it can fill up quicker then it can release.... SCARY!!!
Still love it, and love watching peoples reactions when I say i got a new air compressor, abit bigger then my old one haha.

Nah not really. Use it every time im working on the cars though, rattle gun, duster, etc, and been using it alot to spray my brothers VN.
For the price I paid, I couldnt get a 40 litre electric one, so it was kinda go all out or dont lol.
