gday guy's i thought i would start of introducing myself my names kent im 19,
ive been working on car since i was a little boy ..thnx dad

so ive only ever owned fords but thats just me..
so im here now due to being over the never ending bullshit of ford v's holden
there cars hehe

ok so heres my beast
its an 04' BA Fairmont
not much done to it
just have a 2.5" catback
custom interior
thts bout it

Nice.

I reckon the dark blue ones look the best though. I used to have a neighbour that had one. His had a V8 too..........think it was hotted up a bit. Sounded nice as. Nice looking car.

I like the last pic too. Maybe if it had some wheels from the XR or fpv series?

im putting the g220 rims on it soon they are 17" and will be lowerd with ultra's all round

hid's in the lights turbo was a plan but work on this car will cease to excist due to project ltd

welcome this is a nice place, if ford had made a decent looking and practical wagon id be there.... nevertheless i love my commo's

the only thing i dont like about the barra engines is there exhasut note is terrible (all the ones ive heard) but that seems to be shared with the alloytecs too., if you need any help with later model commodores give me a bell, ill help ya out as best i can,

andyman i agree with you on the exhaust notes but mine is a custom made exhaust sounds totally different

Is 'Project LTD' one of those 70's LTDs?

I've always liked those..........still prefer a statesman over one though, but nonetheless, they still look pretty good.

Maybe you should put an FC rear end on it..........looks heaps cooler than the fe one. According to that website anyway.

I have actually seen a few nice looking BA's around the past few weeks. They are the best looking ford imo, but they feel HUGE to drive

I know the sound ur talking about, sounds sort of farty yeah? They use the wrong mufflers, makes the tone too smooth..

I made sure it didnt have that farty sound like the others, this one actually sounds tough.I got a 100cpsi ballistic cat and a 2.5inch system with two high flow mufflers(straight throughs)with twin 3inch dump tips put on my BA XR6. I haven't heard one like mine on the road yet here in syd.Has a nice deep burble on idle, but the mid-high range it sounds very tough, doesnt sound thrashy or struggling. Its loud but not very loud like rice burners and also no drone. Seems gettign this exhaust work done has freed up the motor, cos now it loves to rev...

BTW Kenay, love the HID's...
