    Default Intense DH M3

    Hi Guys.

Just posting my Down Hill Rig, It is my pride and joy.

I have gone pretty much to the extremes to save weight, Only need a new saddle, and world cups – However air isn’t as plush. Pictures are shown with my everyday wheel set, With my race wheel set bike is sub 17kg – Has cost me a packet!

Let us know what you think.

    Cheers

Just looking... the rear suspension on that frame is hardcore... lol... can you throw up a close up? Still having issues working out which bit moves when and where...

My rear suspension is simple... basically triangle with a shock at the end of it... a big bulky, tuff as nails triangle... but a triangle none the less...

    Damn that looks expensive lol.

Don't quite know if I'd have the balls, (or soonafter - the lack of them) to be doing such speeds down rocky narrow bush mountains and stuff.
Would be an awesome rush of adrenalin though............

Good to see some riders on the forum..

I personally owned a 2007 Specialized Demo 8... Not stock.

Looks like some mint upgrades, how good are those Straitline pedals!
    Love my set

What seat you thinking of getting, SDG Ti Fly, Sunline?
    peace mate.

    You racing Nationals this year?

Sorry for the late reply guys,

I own the first version of the Straitline pedals, The new ones are supposedly rubbish as they have cracking issues with the spindle.

I would hate to have my pedals collapse under me after a 20ft gap!

I was going to go with an SDG yes – To continue saving weight, But I don’t know if I will spend any more money on it.

No not nationals unfortunately, I recently lost a pivot bolt and it’s going to cost me around $450 to get x4 new bolts.

Jester, I have uploaded you a picture.

    Sorry again for the delay.

Hope you can understand how it works, I like Multi pivot over Single (Single is what your bike uses), Depends on what you like.

    Cheers

Yep... cheers... crazy... but i get it...

Yeah... I've ever only owned bikes with a pingle pivot so I don't really have an opinion on it...

I'm happy with the single pivot for what I use my bike for... does the job...

Don’t get me wrong mate, I love single pivot because you can save even more weight!

I may look into getting a Socom one day. Just don’t want to spend much more on the bikes at this stage.

Yeah I have been down at Cunungra, That’s where you really learn to love dual pivot. It is so rocky!
