Winton 24 Hour Relay - Easter 2010

A little bit of advance notice:

Winton are going to run a 24 hour Regularity Relay over Easter 2010.

This will not be a race but an event where each individual driver who is part of a team runs against the clock. It is difficult to explain in a post, but you do not need to be in the fastest team or have the fastest car, it is convievable that the slowest team could win.

I reckon all you motorsport fans who are happy to put your pride and joy on the track should enter a team.

We particiapte in an exact same event except over 6 hours. It is a great team event.

Please consider entering a Team or two, invite some interstaters, it is over Easter

Competing with FOSC Bathurst for entrants,both on easter but at winton you'll get more than 5 laps all weekend!!!!!!!!

This event is open to all holders of AASA or CAMS Club Licenses and above.

Entry fee is $2500 per team.

So get a team together now and make this a great event

You won't need any of that, UNLESS you want to go trackside, there is no entry fee for spectators, which includes access to the pits

We need more entries for the 24 Hour at Easter, even individual entries, not necessarily team entries.

If it doesn't get off the ground this year it will be lost forever, local bylaws!

The last time it was run was back in 1993.

Unfortunately the 24 Hour event at Winton over Easter 2010 has been cancelled due to a lack of entries, there was not enough to warrant running the event.

We are extremely dissapointed, however it was a decision that has to be expected sometimes.

It may be resurrected next year, my personal opinion is that the 12 Hour at Bathurst impacted on entries, but stuff like that happens.
