Tander and Davidson have taken a long overdue win at Bathust.
damn shame about the 2nd last safety car or the fastest man on the track would have been in the box seat. Murph is always the dark horse. some decent racing in the closing laps![]()

I'm just stoked there wasn't a Ford on the podium. Will be interesting next year with Lowdnes in the seat of a Holden again!
Murphey was SOOOO close. After such a good race from him and Skaife it was a shame not to see them on the podium.
The drought is broken![]()
Woo hoo well done to the Holden boys. 1-2-3-4
1, 2 and 3
What a fantastic race![]()
awesome finish with murph coming back and awesome finish for holden 1 2 3 4!
you freaking beauty holden 1,2,3 and 4. and only 1 ford in the top ten. was an awesome race
What an epic battle for 2nd and 3rd places. Right on the edge of my seat the last 15 laps.
They all stepped it up notch. Fantastic driving.
....and i missed the whole thing. Good to hear Holden dominated Bathurst again.
HEARRRY, HEV YU HEARD OF REKALL?
Congratulations to whoever won. Of course the best part of the day was finished by 9 in the morning.
Touring car masters ftw

Yeah I actually enjoyed yesterdays GT Cup (or whatever they renamed it to). The reformated Porsche Cup. Watching a few Lambo's tear up Bathurst and a couple of Vettes and Vipers.
yeah its was crap lowdnes that stop us from top ten he came 5th
he should never of left holden to go to crap ford
Absolutely great race, ecstatic with the results. I agree with crazybiker ^^ it would have been great to see Murph/Skaife on the podium but either way, couldn't have asked for much more.
Holdsworth has raced a great year so he deserved to get up there, would have been nice to seen the Kelly boys up there as well. I was secretly pleased for Brad Jones Racing - he always seems to have crappy races with damage to cars etc!
Of course, thrilled to pieces about our HRT boys, they were solid the whole race - love it!
I would've been happy with just a Holden win, but the fact that it was a all Holden podium, and 9 out of the top 10 cars were Holdens it just made it that more special.
The best part is I don't feel any sympathy for the Ford fans.
We were given so much crap in 2007 when only 3 Holdens finished, but how funny is it that the only Ford that finished inside the top 10 will be a Holden next year? lol
Aside from that it was a great race. Best Bathurst in atleast 10-15 years I reckon.
Yes well done to "H"RT![]()
I was bored last night so I re-wrote the TV ads for Ford
"What car is more likely to only have 3 cars in the top 10, catch fire, barge its way into oncoming traffic, fall apart, were supposidly going to thrash the lap record, have a faulty alternator, find the wall, push its way back 3 spots instead of overtaking, run out of fuel, hit the kill switch then try to restart the car for 30 seconds, take each other out in wet conditions, have clutch issues, bring out the safety car at the most cruicial part of the race AND only have 1 in the top 10 finishes ....
Fords fantastic new FG Falcon, thats who.
Makes ya just wanna race out and buy one when you put it like that, doesnt it?"
