It has been confirmed that Schumacher will return to the F1 circles next year driving for the new Mercedes GP F1 team. Schumacher has signed a 1 year deal to drive along side Nico Rosberg in a all German lineup.
Mercedes GP formally known as Brawn GP last year have also picked up Petronas, the malaysian gas gaint as there principle naming sponsor.

unfortunatly i don't think the Mercedes cars will have the jump on the rest of the field like they did last year but schumacher is known for his ability to make a lesser car perform. some of the current crop of F1 drivers sure could get a fright next year

I hope this does happen, will be great to see him back on the track.

They reckon he's physically and mentally still in great shape, but after havin a couple years out, no matter how much testing and development he's done for Ferrari, its gonna be very interesting to see if he still has that X-Factor.
Keep in mind he's 41 now, bout the age you would swap the V8 for a fuel-efficient i30 or Camry lol.
Jorgen Persson finsihed 4th in the last Olympics in table tennis at age 42. Arguably more demanding on the relexes than F1. He'd not finished higher than 4th at any time during his career either. So I think if you are in shape this age is no problem for F1 plus at this age you are more likely to have something to prove to yourself (that you can still do it before aging really does catch up)
he will do ok,, just finished race of champions in second place
the reality is that the Schumacker/Brawn dream team are back together. a proven winning combination 7 times over.
he may not have driven a F1 car in the past few years but his commitement to the sport/ Ferrari certainly haven't changed from when he was driving and i certainly don't think he's lost the drive (pardon the pun) to win.
i think i'll be watching F1 again next year

I think it's great. With some teams pulling out or thinking about it, this couldn't have come at a better time for F1, it's the shot in the arm the sport needed.

He's still been out for a while maybe around mid-end season he'll get the feel back and we'll see some driving we used to remember.
Should still do very well in the car, despite the testing 'ban' in F1 Ferrari have been using Schumacher a lot more than they should have if they followed the rules
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people around ?
i think im gonna start watching f1 again, its great for the sport, hes gonna give it the big bang it needs to head it back to where f1 was.
Yah..
I dont think Schumacer is gonna win much but I believe he will do pretty well in the races..
I think it's too early to say what will happen. He could win the Championship, could win no races, the truth is most likely to be somewhere in the middlealthough he would have to be just as likely to win the Championship as anyone else
