hrt webbing

anyone know what the webbing is that runs from the seat to the dash in the HRT cars? seen skaife started using it just befor he retired and now more drivers are starting to use it

just got a twitter back from will davison, he says its a safety net incase of an accident, they dont have to run it but HRT take all precautions

yeh its designed to stop the head from moving too far to the left in an accident, the same way the window net stops the head from moving too far to the right (and into the window glass/plastic). Combined with the HANS device you'd imagine the HRT boys necks are fairly safe in a crash!
