They throw a chunk of money at Courtney, Tom Walkinshaw passes and now Craig Wilson and Rob Crawford both leave... Tander's contract runs out this year...will he stay or go? What the hell is going on down in Clayton?
car of the future... why spend money developing the current car when theres a whole new chassis coming out where most of the research done now will be useless
just my opinion
Thats their biggest mistake getting courtney, they should have grabbed another Holden driver,Vodafone are the team to beat this year.
They need to get rid of Tander as soon as his contract is up Courtney is a good driver. I think Tander is taking control of the team and not letting Courtney develop the car the way he likes it

Well there was nothing that could be done about Walkinshaw's passing...obviously and for years it's been reported that Crawford and Wilson were both rot within the team. Maybe their departure will be a good thing?
The last 18 months have been pretty tough to watch, but you have to take the good with the bad. They'll find their mojo again. All things considered apart from Courtney they've done alright to hold on as good as they have.
Just look at FPR, Apparently it's the happiest place to be (According to Will Davison) and they're doing just as bad as HRT are. If you count up all the wins HRT have compared to FPR in the last 2 years HRT still come out on top even in one of their darkest periods.
They're still my favourite team in the series and always will be.
if a team develops a new technologically advanced part that is superior to anything else teams are using they are required to make it available for all the teams, hence all the cars are the same now and not much development is happening only the drivers can rise to the top. I think its a good and a bad rule, its good in that it brings parity to the races its bad in that it makes it boring to watch.
Thats right unless a driver error or a pitstop error occures then the car in front will probably win 99% of the race,so to me its a bit boring there needs to be cars that are faster than others they should be allowed to develop the cars the way they want to and as fast as they want to.
Exactly. These days the racing is almost hair line. It speaks volume when on average half a second or so covers 10-15 cars.
I think it's so much better than it was say 10 years ago. Ironically I thought it was boring back when HRT were practically unstoppable and the the AU was a winless crapbox. Project Blueprint done wonders by evening things out.
I like seeing any Holden whip a Ford, but like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest it only lasts so long.
all cars being equal is boring especially with the tyres now... i think they need to do what f1 did and bring back quick tyres with a short lifeATCC has always been like most other forms of motor racing - whoever has the best toy on the day = win. Most seasons with few exceptions in the old Group A/C days had one team dominating. There are actually more variety of winners recently than ever before.
Reaper
in perth they were on the soft tyre and they only made one pitstop??? thats when i gave up watching
