Can't wait for season to start.
Will be interesting to see how James Courtney goes as Ambrose's replacement. I would tip Ingall to be very much on fire.
I have a good feeling about HRT chances.
I hope Steven Richards gets along a bit more this year. He seems to run very consistently then he either gets bad luck or Paul Dumbrell crashes it on an enduro...
Lowndes will be in the mix too I spose...

It would be fantastic way to say goodbye to the VZ Commodore, with Holden winning the championship.. unless they're going to still race it in 2007 after VE comes out? Silhouette category? Return of Group A? Homologation specials? YAY!

As long as skaife drives, HRT have no hope(dont get me wrong i love skaife just think its time he hands the drive over he has too much to do). Ingall wont be on fire, he wasnt on fire last year, the new points system is a joke, had any driver finished 7th all year they would have won the championship, doesnt say much for cars that win

I thought greg & rick were a good combo...
my personal view is that Paul Wheel & Greg are not so good a combo.
I mean Greg can drive the wheels off all year, then Paul gets in on the enduros...
Greg had some rather bad luck last year with gearbox etc... should be right this year hopefully.

If triple8 racing keep getting the setup right than Lowndes will be a good chance. HRT havent been there but are clwing back. Richards will be up there, but it looks like it'll be another close season.

I agree with most of the comments here...

With Tom back at HRT hopefully he has taken over a large portion of Skaife's official role with HRT and Holden and Mark can concentrate on driving once again. Bring back the HRT dominance

Also, keep an eye on McConville. He has finally gotten into a team that is capable of constant podium finishes. Hopefully the guys at supercheap will support him unlike Garry Rogers who seemed to only provide disapointment.

Have to agree with that. I don't think anyone will touch him this year.

I don't think Ingall will really challenge this year though, but look forward to some incidents between him and Skaife perhaps Always makes it a bit more exciting to see those two get into it...

Dont count Ingal out, if it wasn't for Ambrose he would have had a few more championships under his belt. SBR will be a strong team again this year.

SBR are supplying engines to 2 or 3 other teams besides SBR. You can have a quick engine but you still need a good driver to make the car give good lap times.
