so here are some pics of the new Perkins Racing Team cars.

I liked last years warpaint much better. It's a little tooooo black, mind you the jack daniels helps a bit.

Yeah i agree, a little too dark for Larry, but when your major sponsor of 30 or so years buggers off i guess you take what you can get.

i agree it is too black, it would look better with the white wheels like skaifeys

I think this suits Larry's cars, remember Larry allways turned his head lights on when he was on a charge and I think he would have loved to be in a black car with the headlights on chasing someone down, because that's just plain scary and that's what he was all about

My father heard a story about Mr. Larry Perkins while he was selling cars back before i was around, basically, when he was driving for the works holden team at the time, they used to put the race engines in road cars to run them in, then, on one of the occasions mr perkins had possesion of one of the cars with such an engine in it, a police officer decided that after an action that larry performed he wanted to speak to him, larry wasnt so keen on chatting to the copper, so he put that race engine and driving skill to good use and dissapeared in a rather fast fashion.

The officer managed to get the rego number of the car and the team was promptly contacted by police regarding the incident and the unseuccesful chase, the team didnt reveal who the driver was because if they did, larry would lose his drivers license, which in succesion would mean no racing cams licence as well.

How true this story is i dont know, but my god, i hope it is true, cos damn, i want one of those cars and engine combos


And as for the warpaint of the new cars, i have always had a thing for those black on black cars, no matter what they are
