V8s go to channel 7

my question is.. does anyone happen to know if the current channel 10 commentators are going to 7 to call the V8s, or will channel 7 supply their own maggots to provide pathetic commentry?

if you cant tell, i hate channel 7...

I can see it now... They'll drag out Sandy Roberts for commentary with 'special' comments from Bruce Macyvaney

fox needs to buy the rights to them and have a dedicated race channel and make it 'active' like they do with NRL sometimes

bruce and sandy will be keeping themselves plenty busy enough with the AFL broadcasting next year ultimately saving us from some over the hill and uneducated couple of morons blabbering on about seet fark all

Both are ex Channel 10, from there previous V8 commentary lineup.

i agree with jimboss, matty white might be alrite for the job because i think he use to do the commentary on the v8s a few years back before leah diffy joined the team... but still wont be anywhere near as good as the ten team have done

I hope just as much as you guys that they dont F it up .They did spend over $125 million in purchasiing the rights to the v8s so i think they will have it in their best interests to come through with the goods.

there will be less AFL. about 4-5 games combined on ch 10 & 7. ch7 wil probably have the sunday AFL and friday night and ch10 would have sat. & sat night. so sunday v8's maybe delayed. which would f**ken suck.

Then there's the problem of having no V8 Supercars at the Melbourne F1 race now because of the clash in TV rights. Thanks Channel 7 - I never watch you anyway, and now I hate you even more!

the main thing there is some races which could mean about 5 out of the whole calander...could only be the major races... also the AFL may schedule more sunday or monday night game, to avoid any clashes... so ch7 has screwed everything up for all... i reckon they have bitten off more than they could chew

remember back when matthew white was on ten i thought he was one of there best commentors bar bill woods so i think it will be ok athough its a pity barry sheene isn't around i used to like him he would make motorsport even more enjoyable to watch

I hated the channel 10 commentators, they didn't know a damn thing they were talking about during the formula one (getting drivers names wrong, talking about the wrong people).. oh wait.. they still have F1 don't they?
