there is major controversy going on over here because the fords have a huge power advantage overthe holdens at the mo. mainly due to the governing body rules which control the engine parts that you are allowed to run. the Holden camp are limited to the VN series heads but there is to be no hand finishing at all, no porting/ polishing etc. the ford camp run a control head which is the Worlds product winsor junior head. an aftermarket head which already has an optimised combustion chamber and inlet/exhaust runners etc. there is talk that the holden drivers may boycott the next round unless something is done however they will get fined if they do because of contractual obligations etc![]()

Depending on the contract maybe they could all run 1 lap and "retire". Sounds like a stupid situation, id like to know what idiot made those rules.
Im not a complete idiot, some parts are still on backorder!
gode news for once, the governing body has done a lot of testing and has agreed to an engine mod for the holden camp to give egine power parity between the 2 manufacturers to prevent a holden driver walkout at the next race meet
