BTW my seats are in Section N on the main straight.

Im not going on the thursday or friday due to other commitments but going with a mate on the saturday using his second ticket, front row pit straight and sunday im just going general admission.

We are halfway back in section A in Pit Straight Gold Will be there all 4 days.... can't wait!

Got in quickly to get a corporate carpark pass as well... paid $45 or so for it, but we paid more than that for parking in the general public carpark a few years ago! Guaranteed spot, and a bit more secure. (Hint for next year, everyone - contact the Clipsal 500 office early in December and ask about the carparking!)

We had front row a couple of years ago, and hated it cos of people walking past all bloody day! plus the fencing is actually not that easy to see through that low down....

parked in the same spot the last 4 years, on saturday and sunday, people are at work on the weekdays.


my seats are section M, row ZC, highest i could get them, right across from the pit exit, and across from a big screen, so i wont be missing any of the race.

Does anyone know when the drivers parade is? the one where they usually drive thru the city in their cars, as a promotion sorta thing?

Don't think they are actually doing the drive-thru thing this year.

On Wed Feb 28, in front of the Clipsal 500 HQ, 191 Pulteney St, there is a Pitstop Challenge starting at noon, and also a Drivers Autograph Session, from 12-2. There is also the RSB V8 Supercar Luncheon at the Hilton that day, so I'm not sure which drivers will be where when, but I would suggest that if you can get to Pulteney St on the Wednesday that is your best chance of seeing any action before the event starts on the Thursday.

Yeah i searched thru the clipsal guide, but i couldn't see anything.

I was just hoping they left it out, but its still happening, as apparently last year a few of them were letting rip on king william street lol.


Pit stop challenge wouldn't realy interest me, i do enough of that in my own garage.

So stoked, some random came up to me and gave me a general entry at the entrance of the track at turn 3(1 after Senna chicane?). I musta looked like a sad puppy wining at the back door wanting to come in, so he felt sorry for me.

god I hate the V8's on channel 7 now. All these "pretty boy" gay commentators are already pissing me off

Mate i wasn't any better at the track.


They took over half an hour just to show the leader board, and even then, they only show 4 at a time.



Worst thing to happen to the sport was gouing to channel 7, as if theres a footy game on, V8s will lose out.




And congrats to HRT, out of every team there i didn't think HRT would be on the top step.
