V8 supercar T.V coverage
So what does everyone think about the announced channel 7 coverage? I am not too sure about the 3 races that will be cut short for the AFL, as I am expecting that we will be half way through race 2 when they go to the football. Channel 10 did this a couple of times when racing ran too long and we had to watch childrens programs instead. I am not a football supporter (far from it) but I just knew it would get in the way of V8 broadcasts and I am fearing the worst for these rounds. I know it is only 3 rounds but it sux to watch the start of a race and not get to see it end, especially after all the changes in the points system, which should bring more overtaking and more mishaps. I am on the other hand happy to see Niel Crompton back in the commentators seat as it would have been a great loss to the sport not to hear how much fuel burn the cars were using......hehehehe
I was expecting Leigh Diffey to come over (ch 7) aswell but to no avail, not that this bothered me much as he seems to be doing a good job commentating the womens and mens golf these days......hahahaha.
