ill be at sanddown tommorow as well, driving my bosses cv8![]()
fark, not good news at all.
I was going to put some money on #2 for Sandown too as is tradition
Well #22 will now be at good odds so theres always a chance although I'm still thinking #51 might be a surprise package. Of course, its hard not to back the HSVDT car of Tander/Kelly!!!
Its gonna be a fun race, just sucks my favourites out and he dont get any points for this round
Glad it happened now though and not in 4 weeks time![]()
Yeah ive got a 3 day pass, was hoping to get some stuff signed by him and otheres tomorrow and during the weekend. Guess ill have to wait till i go up to indy... Too bad my dads freinds with the ford drivers and not the holden ones...
But it is much better it happend now, than the week before bathurst. That would be a heartbreaker.
Saw on the news a little while ago he was pitlane at Sandown and might be racing depending on medical clearance.
“He [Skaife] has to qualify on Saturday and meet a medical check to satisfy officials,” said Starr. “If he feels okay and all this happens he could replace Tony Longhurst and join Glenn Seton in the #2 HRT Commodore.” Best of luck to him

Actually just reading here there is still hope he might be driving?
I suppose we'll know for certain tomorrow.
Thanks Darren, sounds somewhat promising.

Then again reading on HRT's site it doesn't sound promising, I think I'll wait to see come race time.
It's all guess work at this stage.
According to HRT's site Skaife has been in the car in the warm up?
Lets hope this is so.
