What did the stewards do to Todd Kelly to practically destroy his race ?
I didnt watch the whole race(stupid time they put it on tv) I looked at the highlights and noticed that in the footage Whincup takes the corner after the pit exit and the safetycar enters the track between the 1st and 2nd placed cars during a restart in race 1 and the commentary said everyone on the track was confused...next thing Todd Kelly passes it and he gets a drive through? WTF...interesting if it was Whincup or Clowndes that did it what the penalty would have been if any?

Basically the saftey car ****ed up and came out almost side by side with Todd even though they came out after Lowdes and whincup who was the race leader ??
The saftey car went up near the ripple strip and Todd not knowing what was going on since the saftey car came out in the middle of the field overtook it and they decided to give him a drive through even though they ****ed up !!
Ofcourse lowndes and whincup overtook it technically but there untouchable so basically the saftey car stuffed up and Todd got punished cause they cant deploy a saftey car properly.

Cant believe how biased the ****ing stewards are to ford based cars....clowndes passed the pacecar too...no penalty? so many dodgy decisions in their favour this year..... looks like it would take a miracle to get a commodore driver to the head of the queue of the championship now....basically its whincup against winterbottom...no red cars... the stewards will fall on their sword...they have got the ford wankers happy but we have had enough of their bias.

i think i'm officially over V8supercars, turned it on but CBF watching it. same here with the NZ V8's the rules favour the blue oval to much. gotta find some other sort of racing me thinks

I do have to agree about the stewards, ford must have them on the payroll, all power to tander to fight for the championship, but ive pretty much given up on seeing the number one placed on a holden next year. Maybe holden should take on a stockcar teams champs approch and straight line all the blue ovals off the track, would make last two rounds unforgettable, The fords certainly are.

Theres definantly something up with the stewards, personally i think its Ford have said, we'll be winning the championship this year of it'll be all Holden next year....


According to the rules, the safety car becomes the safety car once the boards are displayed, NOT when the safety car enters the track as most people think. The boards were displayed before the leaders even got onto the main straight, so technically all 3 cars passed the SC. I still don't know why the rule wasn't enforced. All the cars should've been going slower on the main straight.
I think courtney was let off a penalty for hitting the SC in the pitlane during the race aswell, he said 'my car was on the limiter, so the SC was going too slow' haha.


Reminds me of Clipsal this year, when Morris 'nearly' hit the SC, it was sitting in the middle of the track at pit exit waiting, and morris blazes through at full speed. Locked up and just stopped in time. I remember after that saying 'morris has hit everything but the safety car'. He mad a liar out of me a few rounds later when he hit it haha.
