DOHC SIDI VVT 253haha
I doubt Holden would have anything to do with it beyond minor mods to get it into the Commodore. Technologies such as sidi and VVT are only a matter of time for GM. Combine them with DOD on a well thought out motor and at least the potential is there for something very good. I'm looking forward to see what FPV do with the Coyote in the near term myself.

Maybe GM (and Ford for that matter) should put a bit of effort into quality!![]()
quality? quality is for japanese cars.. err.. forget that haha. gimme power!
That technology into GM motors would be great for Holden. Extract more power and torque from smaller capacity motors. Not that i mind 6+LT engines they are small packaged.
The coyote looks the goods. Finally Ford has a weapon with bite.
GM would be silly to not keep up with whatever ford are bringing out.... in the end, they won't have a vehicle to put the engines into![]()
the thought of a VVT SIDI V8 gives me a chubby!!!![]()
Reviled did i live as evil i did deliveR
- UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
- OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear.
- HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
- TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.
VVT SIDI alloy block 454 would be nice. option it with a blower for good measure.
I honestly can't see why it has taken this long for GM to put this technology on the drawing board.
