I doubt Holden would have anything to do with it beyond minor mods to get it into the Commodore. Technologies such as sidi and VVT are only a matter of time for GM. Combine them with DOD on a well thought out motor and at least the potential is there for something very good. I'm looking forward to see what FPV do with the Coyote in the near term myself.

they had a good write up about it in the latest wheels magazine, theres going to be 3 versions of the coyote with the top two being supercharged and putting out insane power

Maybe GM (and Ford for that matter) should put a bit of effort into quality!

That technology into GM motors would be great for Holden. Extract more power and torque from smaller capacity motors. Not that i mind 6+LT engines they are small packaged.

The coyote looks the goods. Finally Ford has a weapon with bite.

GM would be silly to not keep up with whatever ford are bringing out.... in the end, they won't have a vehicle to put the engines into

the thought of a VVT SIDI V8 gives me a chubby!!!

I honestly can't see why it has taken this long for GM to put this technology on the drawing board.

$$$. Being broke (or on the way too it) set things back a year or two as well.
