Not sure if you guys knew or care about this but looks good to me. Great looking car apart from the rear end.
Im sure it will sell well when released, think holden need to be careful with models like this as they have the potential to majorly hurt the commodore is sale IMO.

Don't think it'd hurt the Commodore in terms of sales, looks more like a replacement to the Cruze.

The Malibu is mid way between the Cruze and Commodore. I think there is a market for such a car although it won't be huge. Some buyers perceive any RWD 6 cyl as uneconomical (nomatter what the reality of the situation) and will only ever consider a 4 cyl FWD. It will probably pick up some of those buyers where the Cruze is too small.

I know the name is a global one, but I really don't like the "Malibu" name. I hope it does well thought. I like the retro style dash, reminds me of the old HQ(?) Holden dash.

Lovely looking car, except the tail lights. The interior looks magic and would go a long way to helping the VE's feeling less cheap. Now to only get one in a turbo 6 or l98 option.

Possibly. I don't see whats wrong with the "Malibu" name to be honest.

Like most here, i think the name is almost as bad as Ford "Probe".

Interior looks pretty damn mint to me! All round it looks to be a pretty decent "chick" type of car.

lol, yes both makes have had their stages of poorly chosen names for their vehicles, however, as stated it would be the perfect oppurtunity to revive the torana legacy, and with that name being badged onto the vehicle it would stop the thoguhts of "chicks" car, especially if it is optioned witht the turbo 6 or l98,

If done correctly holden can make a lot of money from this little car, as it looks the goods both inside and out, however judging by past and recent mistakes, they will more than likely fumble the ball and we'll see this one going downhill quickly, just like the EPICA

More likely electronic. Hand/foot brakes are quite simply old technology these days.

Also, on the Simpsons it's Malibu Stacy.

I love the styling. It's like a toned down Camaro inside and out. And to think, 141kw/254Nm out of a 4cyl car!!! IMPRESSIVE!!! Will possibly end up being more popular than the Commodore.

If it has wheels and anything less than 8 cylinders, some cool cat will "tune it"/"do it up"/"pimp it up" ("f*** it up!)
Not a bad looking car, would be good for the females or as a daily, and bloody nice interior! (Minus that massive gold devil sign in the middle of the steering wheel!)
