Downtime

What turned out to be an unscheduled downtime for some simple cPanel updates turned into a complete nightmare (it wasn't my fault this time ). I am not entirely sure of the full details at this stage but there were some spam issues which needed to be resolved.

Once again I must apologise although it's not my fault the owner can fully sympathise with myself as well as other clients as even himself were having problems getting answers from them guys contracted to do any maintenance.

Ok, that was not f#cking funny!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally got a computer up and running in the new house and typed www.justcommodores.com........error....site not found....play around with your computer or try typing the right site name in idiot.!!! So I tried typing it in about 10 times got the shits and pulled the bloody computer down again and re-loaded windows etc again...still no luck. Finally logged on today and hey presto everyone is here again.!!!!

Now I know I've been away for a while but I nearly shit myself when I had that fleeting moment in the bottem of my gut that the site was no longer operating.

Anyway good to see all is OK and I promise not to bugger this computer up so that I can annoy the f#ck out of you all.....

Welcome back Guy!! I was only beginning to wonder the other day where you had gotten to.

There were some unhappy campers to say the least, I have put a script in place where it notifies me via my ISP email account that the site is down or unreachable so I should have much more of an idea how often it is going down for a reboot or any unexpected maintenance.

The site disappearing hmmm nah no way in my life time that is going to happen.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to redirect the site temporarily to another page without having direct access to the cPanel tools which lie in the background of the site.

On a brighter note it's great to see you back Guy!
