Given that much of the development was carried out by Holden and the Camaro uses the same basic floorpan architecture, is any of it made here?

I know Holden were part of the design process but I am unsure if they make any of the parts/components. Although I wouldn’t think any parts come from Australia.

Like the exterior, it's based on the 69 Camaro design. Square instrument housings and various other internal features were picked up for the new car from the old model. I still reckon the old ones looked much cleaner and had originality on their side.

It was still in development stages when the movie came out. It hit dealers like less than a month ago in the US.

I think they're made on the same platform as the VE, which is why its said there made here.


Not sure if they are tho, havn't seen anything on them, nor any sitting in the holding yards.

Pretty much all of the engineering and development was done by Holden. Under the skin it has a lot in common with the Commodore (take a look under the bonnet!)
