Hey, i hav got extractors twin hi-flowcats and rear muffler. How many mufflers do u have on it. The cats by themselves wont necesarilly make it much louder. The mufller has alot to do with it aswell and the nuber of them. The extractors make a helll of a differenece. Well they did on my VT

hrmm, not too sure what could be wrong, id say it mite be the cat, but im not an exhaust fitter so im not 100%, i would go back to them and ask them why its so quite, my old car with just a 2.5inch with tip sounded awsome even tho it was a ford, then got extractors and cat and was even louder that it was over the legal limit but of course i put pacemaker comps on got it at a good price all up wass $1200, so i put a ressy on it since i am giving the car to my bro since i didnt want him to have hassles with the police.

when you buy extractors, you can generally buy just standard ones which are better than stocky's or you can buy the comps where they are better than standard and stock and breathe the car alot better, and generally give more power in top end

Hi,i have a vt.It only has a single 2.5 inch cat back system for the time being and it sounds pretty aite for a v6.When i got my cat back done i did a bit of research and i found out tht the glass pack muffler/straight through muffler is one of the loudest one.And i aint running any resonator or hotdog at all.I heard tht the genie mufflers are pretty aite.

Have a look at the date of the first post. Goes back a bit, I reckon he would have solved his problem by now.
