POLICE SCANNER uniden 1 months old.

Up forsale is my police scanner its hand held mobile scanner and comes with a car and house charger so can be taken anywhere.
It is programed to receive the wangaratta police and other region 2 police.
Wangaratta is the main police command center for the region i live in and all police radio communications go through there so you here everything thats going on, it can be programed to pick up other police in different areas just search for the scanner frequencies in your area online and program them in.
Can also pick up CFA, Ambos, Aircraft etc but i only use it to listen to the cops, nice to know what there up to ;-)

It is only 1 month old so will come in the box with all instructions etc willing to post registered mail anywhere in aus obviously will be cheaper post if your in vic and more if your in WA
At a guess id say prob $15 to post registered Vic and $25 elsewhere ??

It is a Uniden UBC93XLT if you want to look them up. cost me $320 from local auto shop

they do work in vic mate.. im in vic and it works well!!! wont work in metro areas as there on digital but it works in regional fine, hence saying its set up for region 2 at the moment.

Listen to what the cops are bein told from Station and Base, also in Regional areas you will Car checks and IBR's, which is eciting listening to peoples criminal records.
Also you can listen to Ambulance (you wont get a name of any patient though), aldo fire brigade, SES, DSE, pretty muc anything that uses a UHF radio. Aviation can be good to listen to. Also can pick up things like cordless phones but thats highly illegal lol.
