best price you can do man?also in that last pic up top is that a flat spot or is it just me?would you ship?
WARRNING THESE ARE NOT FOR A COMMODORE
Yea this guy is trying to sell them he said they are for a commodore they are for somthing els my father drove to Melbourne from sydney to get them the guy swore black and blue they are for Commodore my father took an axel with him and they are not the guy then said they are for a Commodore then my father asked a person arrcoss the rd from person selling wheels if he could try his axel in the spare wheel to confirm and the axel fitted the vn commoder spare wheel this guy is a joke after all that he said so do you still want them 8 1/2 hour drive waste of petrol and a night in a hotel then asked to wait half the day in melbourne as he said he had to do something and he could not meet with him at 8am made him wait until 1pm when it was pre arranged what a joke and he is still advertising them as a commodore stud pattern my father is a calm person but when that all happend and he had an axel in his hand he realy wanted to use it but did not just drove back and wasted a few $100 and wasted 2 days.
thats a flat spot 4 sure its in both pics, u can still buy the outa rims for them
Your father is a stooge who didnt listen to me on the telephone, as I gave him measurements including PCD measurements and warned him that aftermarket discs or adapters may be needed to fit a commodore as these didnt originally come off a Commodore.
For $350, you could have bought a set of adapter plates and fitted them to your VL, which is what I had when they were on my VN. It was your choice to come down to Melbourne and go back empty handed.
As for your father wanting to go me, I would loved to have seen him try, as it would have been lights out for him, and you too if you had tried to get your obese ass involved. Oh and BTW learn to drive next time you try to back into someone's driveway.
hilarious story, just need pictures
One of the rims is clearly damaged on the lip which makes it dangerous to use. Simmons has ceased manufacturing wheels so good luck trying to get it fixed - not to mention the cost.
Question mark on the integrity of the other rims.
whats this adaptor thing you need/
Its a set of metal plates that you bolt onto the front of the brake disc before you bolt the wheel on. It allows you to fit any wheel to your car, no matter what offset or pcd.
Heres an example. WHEEL HUB BILLET ADAPTORS CHANGE STUD PCD AND OFFSET - eBay Other Wheels, Tyres, Wheels, Tyres, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 25-Sep-09 14:58:19 AEST) .
You may also be able to get aftermarket brake discs for a Commodore with the right PCD.
As for that flat spot, I didnt notice it until now, but I've had rims in the past with worse, and the most it ever cost me to get them repaired by a rim shop was $80. I'll drop the price to $1100 to reflect that.
All Commos are 5*120, why would you drive 800 k's when it states they are 5*110, anyone got a merc or audi?
After having a chat with a tyre fitter mate, I found out that these will fit most Opel made cars directly, including Astra, Vectra, Zafira and Calibra. It can also fit some other European-made cars.
im interested with these5x110 fits saabs. PM me best price you'll go plz
and is that a dent i see in one pic? thanks
$1000 is the lowest I will go, especially as there are 2 almost new Bridgestone's on there which retail for $250 a pop, and the fact that there is virtually no gutter rash anyway. There is a flat spot on one rim but I have already reduced my price heaps already (originally wanted $1500) so at $1000 this is a bargain for genuine Simmons which arent being made anymore.
Cool beans. Will pm ya. Wont be in Melb till Oct but can probably get monies to ya. Been looking for rims to fit my saab lol
il give you 500 buks for these rims without the tyres which you say are worth 500 buks for 2.
1000 and you get the tyres free
best to call or sms me as I dont have net at the moment
