(EOI) Damaged T5 manual gearbox

well after having a blew with wif the missus and dumpin the clutch out of anger in reverse
seemed to have caused some damage to the input shaft there is a chunk missin from it all this did is make reverse pop outta gear soon as u try and move back. all gears 1-5 are in good working order there were no clunks clangs bangs or whines, lookin for what ever i can get for it so best offer

mate looks like a sychro ring. if so would be a seay fix for who ever gets it.

well i've already got another box so its up for grabs minus bellhousing, ive added a pic and circled exactly where its busted

theyre the 4th gear dogs. and this happened in reverse? doesnt make sense. either way easy fix with new input shaft to whoever buys it.

not sure about it popping out of reverse though

i drove it for three months after dumping clutch, no reverse was my only problem....

then what happened to 4th gear happened at a different time. it doesnt surprise me that it still drove because theres still plenty of teeth on it. could have been like that for years without noticing. and for 4th gear to break behind a V6 can only tell me there was a manufacturing defect.

now thats enough talk from me before I get an infraction lol

your right mate, all i can can say is what ive said about how it happend, what was wrong with... any input on it is welcome as im not too familiar with gearboxes info i have is just from gregory's 249 manual...
