according to the manual you can program the detector to ignore xband which are the motions sensors for the electric doors. k band is the radar given off by speed cameras.

how much of a warning before speed cameras do you get then?

depends on the road conditions straight line up to and beyond 500meters. i just used it for peace of mind. pick up a camera and made sure i wasnt speeding. nothing worse than cruising along and slowly gaining speed to then see you have been booked for 7km over
