dijm8 - i didnt actually pay for it. i happen to work for them and that is NOT their everyday price.
They were on special last week for that, this week they are 179. i got the price off the computer at work as this was a gift, I got told if I didnt want it just sell it for something i wanted.
And it doesnt matter anyway man. Price is what someone is willing to pay and my mate who got one as well has already sold his for $155.
lets not let this turn into a price shit fight. if you dont like the price... keep it to yourself

when i checked systems monday was 179. gm on the product is 139, most places are only making $10 off it to sell it at 149 as a doorbuster item.
sony are being tightwads on the price.
Anyway, thats the price guys. Sorry its not going lower.
edit - just checked up prices, my bigw still has it at 179

my price is based of JB HIFI's price. and hte price MY computer says at work.
I have already been offered 135.
i am NOT letting it go for less than 149 as it is BRAND NEW.
