fit my auto vz sv6?
yes mate, came out of a vu series 2, so even the bolt pattern for the pinion is the same ( 3 bolts ) will be a 100% bolt in job, no modding or anything needed. i think you sent me a pm, if your that guy, i've also replied to that as well

400 bucks?
if its 3 bolt it wont fit vn-vs, all mine are 4 bolt.
by three bolts, i assume you mean the front pinion/input to diff.. this is a simple bolt on, bolt off affair. i've changed hundreds of these over the years at work. the 4 bolts on the top to mount them in the car are all the same - (from VP to VZ) you mention a vn with irs, i've never seen one? vp was the first ever commodore to be made with irs, except of course for the 13 or so vl's peter brock made with irs. but to answer your question, it will not fit a vp-vt without changing the front input (which will take no longer than 15mins)
at 400 i'd be better off to pull it apart, use the crown wheel and pinion for my sv99 and sell the lsd clutch pack for 300 (a differential place has offered me this). i will not sell under 500, it can sit under the bench and gather cobwebs, not to be harsh, but i've priced a 3.46 gearset for this, and my cost price through work was over 700! plus the lsd centre, and then youve also got your old diff to sell, so its cheap enough.

reckon it would fit in a sedan?
yeah no worries mate, yeah input flange that bolts upto tailshaft can be changed quite easily.

yes mate, sorry i missed your post, definately is interchangable from ute - sedan - wagon. live axles, say for a vs aren't interchangable like that. but because the irs diff only bolts into the cradle it suits sedan wagon and ute also

haha no i meant as in transportation.
would fit on my back seats or in the boot?
oh shit yeah mate, having a rough guess i'd say you could fit it in a 40cm X 30cm X 30cm box. haha i reckon you could fit 4 diffs in the boot at once lol
